As a pre-hospital professional of 20+ years, I can honestly say that I normally do not watch these types of shows because of the inaccurate way they treat patient's, and I almost throw things at my TV. This show is different in so many ways. It isn't a drama like ER, Grey's Anatomy, or any other medical crap they call a TV series out there. This show not only shows true medical emergencies, but they show the physician and nurses side of things. From PTSD, to being the new kid, to being the nurse that is close to retirement. I LOVE the fact that the medical treatment is about as close to real as you will get on TV, and the fact that it shows physicians as humans that also have feelings, and personal lives. It shows how these physicians have to deal with difficult things every...single...day! If you liked ER or Grey's Anatomy, you have to give this show a shot.
