Soana Milts

Did not enjoy this book at all. The writing is intelligent, poetic. The main character is strong, multilayered, however I kept waiting for something interesting to happen, some development. When a very important development takes place towards the end of the book, it goes nowhere ! The whole story I felt miserable for the characters, there was always a sense of foreboding. Joy was rarely experienced beyond a few lines. I was glad when it ended.
