I found the final episode of series two , quite heartbreaking . I was genuinely surprised that the USA would have allowed such truthful depictions of ICE , in earlier episodes and this final one of the family's visit to their homeland while the occupation, vile restrictions and the portrayal of settlers is shown - in not nearly the appalling detail ,as which is reality. Since this series there is only a devastated landscape left in Palestine and the settlers in the West Bank armed with guns and IDF backed, are even more stealing land from people who have lived there for generations.

I watched this drama always waiting for a glimpse of clarification as to what the story was all about. It was the most convoluted story. The ending was so weird and there was I thinking all would yet be revealed- but no. I was waiting to see if the story continued at all , in another series, but that odd finish was the end. A psycho. drama of conflict between every character in the story and with so many questions left at the end after an enigmatic quote.

Such a difficult topic was approached with great sensitivity. The characters were played by extraordinary actors who brought to their roles the depth of friendship mixed with the anguish about all that the heartbreaking ending of their friend's life in a clinic in Switzerland would entail for them. The ending was one to be celebrated. A remarkable short series- 2 episodes- which managed to say a lot.
