As a fan of the original I was nervous about this one, but I loved it. The cast was strong and it was a good story line. Eddie Murphy's daughter did a great job. Would watch it again.

Not good. I gave it two stars because I thought the actors chosen for Janis and Damien were great in it, but that's about it.
Aside from the first song, the rest fell short and I stopped watching the movie early on.
