As a remake pretty forgettable. I saw a short discussion with the director. He made a movie because fight scenes are fun? Ok, let's run with that. Then, even Dalrons character is barely fleshed out. We have fight scenes. Then the antagonists seem like they have no purpose and are hallow. But! We have fight scenes. The supporting characters all have their two or three lines of support material. Fight scenes... The problem here is nothing interlocks together. No one's character even Dalton who's background is just another trope is hallow. What's on the table at the end of the movie. Fight scenes. I'm being harsh here, the road house bands being rotated in filming were interesting. At the end of the day, efforts to have attractive people in fight scenes. Not much else, and to me a fights not really a story. It's forgettable. 2 stars for the bands. Not recommended...
