This is a brilliant movie, which has dark, subtle comedy infused with the most tragic scenes. Although I personally could not follow the desires and motivations of each character, I chalk that up to not having lived in an isolated area, like the island of the mainland of Ireland. the dark comedy is very funny, and the tragedies in This film are exceedingly tragic. I will watch this again because there are many layers in this film. Colin Farrell shines as do the other actors in this film.
