Absolutely amazing! The acting, screen writing, world building, and score were all great. It honored the original Gladiator to a tee and still kept number 2 as it’s own masterpiece. Yes you can talk about some unrealistic explosions and fighting styles, but this is a fantasy/historic movie. Similar to how Shakespeare would over do properties in his work (exaggerating). Sad to see so many not happy with the movie, this is basically what a fan of the original would ask for. The original score, acting, and story all honored the original. It did not diminish it like so many number 2s do.
