A thrilling, gripping and entertaining watch. I loved the acting, cinematography and storytelling. Jude Law and Jason Bateman are especially brilliant. It used a lot of original filmmaking techniques to create the tension and character development. I like the way the story revealed itself slowly through clever but restrained use of flashbacks. It’s really a story of brotherly, love, loyalty and rivalry, although there are enough other characters and stories going on within it to keep you engaged and guessing right to the end. Recommended.

What an incredible piece of work. Top acting, writing and production. I thought it was going to be a group of peri/menopausal women forming a band. It was in fact about so much more than that, with strong themes around misogyny, abuse, ageing and the power of women’s friendship. Both me and my husband were transfixed throughout and couldn’t wait to binge the whole thing over a few nights. Masterful TV and story telling, can’t wait for the next series! Thanks to everyone involved.

Love this show - highly recommend it! Great acting - especially from the two leads / script and plot, set in sunny Spain. Great to see a feisty women crime gang with lots of interesting, complicated relationships and brilliant twists and turns. Looking forward to season 2!

Enjoyed it - was fun. Probably 40 ish minutes too long - but it helped to fill a long ferry journey. The lead actors were great with lots of chemistry and some hilarious lines too. It’s a fun, escapist romp - a cut above the normal Hollywood action film.

This is an amazing film which I first saw ‘accidentally’ about ten years ago. I then came across the American remake which made me realise how much of an impact the original had had on me. I just watched it again with my husband who’d never seen it, we were both blown away by it. Highly recommend it. Give the ‘remake’ a miss though.

Love this show. Binged it in a few days. Then watched most of it again straight after with my partner. The acting, characters, relationships, script, sets, story and humour are all excellent. It is definitely a cut above even your average good show. Bring on season 2 soon please! 🙏

Brilliant, really enjoying this. A well written and acted funny detective drama. Love the mix of interesting crimes which are wrapped up each episode, against the overarching suspense mystery. It’s enjoyable & easy to watch but clever enough to keep it intriguing. Recommend!

What an excellent drama. Brilliant acting and stunning cinematography- every single shot was so beautiful- it could have been a painting. The story is also very surprising, gripping and emotional. I couldn’t get it out of my head for days after. Highly recommend.
