Redhook made an absoluetly iconic entry with the first Darkest Dungeon. The game has so much personality in a sea of slop games, its well polished and has amazing visual art, soundtrack, writing and oh my GOD the narrator's voice acting. This is the first time I've fallen in love with a turn-based combat system game, and im EXTREMELY picky about games because of their combat. The modding scene for this game also rocks so you have sooo much replayabilty because of that. Absolute gem of a game, one of my favorites which I will continue very close to my heart, alongside the merch of the silly heroes. Rest in peace Wayne June.
