Review: Last movie for this theme. To see three Gen actor/actress together as one make a good ending to this sequence.

Review by: Larry Ho One of the most anticipated sequel after 30+ years that suffered postponed release due to the pandemic proved to be totally worth the wait〜☆ That same opening theme leading to that same song, “Danger Zone” which is unequivocally tied to the 1st movie takes you back 30+ years (I only realised later that both movies opened the exact same way). The elements & aerial tech advancements involved seamlessly transitioned both movie beautifully. However, younger adults or those who are unacquainted may wanna do a quick rinse of the 1st one(on HBO GO)to fully understand the emotional background of “Maverick”. Next to a technical flaw of the environment setpiece. This sequel was nothing short of an epic dog-fighting, G-pulling aerial display of a movie. An afterburning textbook start to a few unexpected barrel rolls finish. An amazing tribute to the late Tony Scott〜♡ It is almost unnatural that Tom Cruise still looks this youthful at 59. He slips right back into character like a glass slipper as only he could. The real uncanny-looking character however is Miles Teller (with a mustache)who plays the son of Goose, callsign: Rooster. This movie is absolutely cut for the bigscreen. Go IMAX if you can. It’d be worth every penny I’m sure〜☆ #GoodnessGraciousGreatBallsOfFire

Review: Larry Ho The new Dr. Strange movie really did get alot stranger dwelling deeper into myticism and sorcery, as it should, with the multiverse as its backdrop. With one of the Masters of horror, Sam Raimi helming this one. It even has a few elements & signatures of a horror film which may not sit too well with kids. There are however, quite a few fresh surprises and setbacks in the storyline(not the movie) which are a welcomed breath of fresh air away from the stereotypical infallable Marvel Superheroes action. But do brace yourself as they totally nailed the “MADNESS” part right on it’s head. Warping in & out of the different Multiverses which was first introduced in the drama-series “LOKI” and then “What If…” on Disney+. The length of the movie is just right and very little screen-time was wasted as the movie hit the screens flying at full speed. Setting the Multiverse as its stage. It is impossible to guess how the story would pan out and what to expect next as anything and everything becomes a possibility. All I can tell you is to keep an open-mind and enjoy this INSANE roller coaster ride… ps. subject matter correlates to the foundation of “WandaVision” on Disney+ so it would definitely help to have seen that first (or later) for a better understanding

Review: Love the laid out of this film, slow and steady. Didn’t expect that Western also believed in Kirin. End part shows that this will not be the last so look forward for next sequel

Review by: Larry Ho The living Vampire movie was better than people give it credit for. Its not fantastic for sure but definitely better than Venom. The story is linear. The action scenes are few and quite blotchy, made better by small successions of slow-cams. The CGI effects however were pretty awesome. The length is just right but the true saving grace was Jared Leto whose star-power performances gave it some reprieve. What the movie really lacks is a proper villain because this one folded like a house of cards amidst his not-so-great performance. Even though “Morbius” did not do as well as it should. The potential it brings to the MCU is definitely something to lookout for. We already have an established Dr. Strange. “Moon Knight” series on Disney+ started a day before this screening. With Blade scheduled later this year, all we need is a proper “Ghost Rider” and we would have an ensemble that could potentially spin-off future developements known as “The Midnight Sons”. So here is to Hoping…🤞🏻

Review by Larry Ho: Not having played any game titles from this franchise. I have been told too many times it is an amazing treasure-hunting game. So without any prior knowledge of the source material, this movie adaptation was undoubtedly Indy Jones/Tomb Raider/National Treasure-ish. Despite being Fast-paced. Smart & sacarstically-funny boosted by 2 strong leads with very convincing performances. Something which I cannot pin-point is still lacking. Maybe it has something to do with the predictability or the infallacy that took away some of the element of imminent danger. Movie was well-paced. Action was great and the treasure-hunting fun and intellegent. I’ll watch anything with Mark Wahlberg innit. Anything except those BayFormer movies.
