Walk into the theater thinking of a musical style film. Try not to compare Rocketman to Bohemian Rhapsody like so many other viewers have. Taron Egerton is singing Elton's songs and does an excellent job at capturing the emotion, struggles, and stardom that Elton John has lived through. Lots of emphasis on stage costumes, drug abuse, and the struggle of self identity is portrayed in the movie. No movie is perfect, as everyone's definition of perfect is slightly different. It is worthwhile to watch and is entertaining to those who lived through the 70s as well as younger generations.
