Read all of the books as a kid, reread now in my 20’s in anticipation of the show. This was absolutely, positively, the worst show I’ve watched in my life. I don’t care about casting, I don’t care about CGI, my biggest issue was the poor acting, horrible dialogue, underdeveloped story, cheesy tacky forced interactions between characters, the list goes on.
If they’re going to renew this for multiple seasons, for the love of the gods, please hire new writers and maybe pay for some of the kids’ acting classes.
Soundtrack and score were okay.
