An excellent excellent movie and account of the continuous journey of hardships, brutality, barriers, discrimination, racism, and bias both explicit and implicit, that African-American people have historically faced in this country. And still, they rise. What a powerful movie about a powerful and enduring American community. This was a wonderful holiday gift.
