I loved the book and at the same time hated it. You know sometimes you come across something that you take time to process what's happened and when you register everything you feel like punching something and at the same time you are in shock. Verity did that to me. I hated all the three characters and when I HATE I really meant the word. I felt bad for Jeremy until I couldn't until the time the man cheated on his own crippled wife . I hated him for that. And then went on to kill his own wife and lie about it to the whole world . Jeremy was a psycho to me . I absolutely fucking hated lowen for whatever she did through the entire book ... From eyeing on a married man to justifying her actions by playing a hero who's saving a man from his wicked wife .... From hiding the truth from him while she was so eager to tell him about Verity manuscript but very conveniently dogded the bullet when the letter was discovered because somehow it made her the villain . What do I say about Verity? I don't even know which side of her was true. If the manuscript was the reality then whatever she faced was so much lesser but if the letter was the truth then I pity her the most . She was misunderstood to an another level because of her so called husband's fault who probably never loved her.
