Having seen this film released in the UK on my exact birthday and again in 2023. I have to say this film isn't half bad and it was entertaining. Maybe there is some truth in the story with what may have happened in the past around the younger dryas. What is impressive and somewhat challenging was Keanu learning Mandarin dialogue. Pretty good job, but in general it seems films from Hollywood have less than perfect pronunciation of Mandarin or even Cantonese from present films to past films in the 80s. Don't they have and pay native speakers to coach or don't they care?
