I have not read the book but saw reviews about it and the controversy it generated (and is still generating). Though the controversy has piped low, it is still a controversial book. I would not write a book that generates such a controversy. Given the sensitive nature of religion, any reference to a proponent of a religious group that is negative is a call for anarchy. This to me is what the book did. The author however, has his right to freedom of expression.
