A lovely film, all the characters very believable. We all fantasise about a more simple life, but this is the reality of starting afresh in the third world on their terms. In the end the "safety net" kicked in (property to sell) and we are left in no doubt she would succeed, and maybe will improve the fate of those who helped her. Does humanity usually prevail like this? Um, not always.
