An excellent book. Very wonderfull explained regarding St. Anne and Joachim before the birth of Mary, and then Mary bethrothed to Joseph, and their marriage, and the journey to Bethlehem for the birth of Christ, The imagery for the Spiritual birth of Christ was so beautiful as Joseph was beside Mary in the cave as he watched the ceiling of the cave open and Mary was raised above and the spiritual birth of Jesus occurred.. There was so much imagery, All events were so well described as she said she was present, there to see all in her visions.The return to Nazareth A beautifu story as related by Sister Catherine Emmerich.A must read.

The Life of the Blessed Virgin Mary

I believe this is one of the best movies of our time. I would put it as an equivalence to 'Gone With The Wind' as it has so much in terms of the author being a writer, the geographic scenes in Tuscany, Italy, Francis' divorce, the new Romance, the sweetness of the many friends -characters that help Francis along the way in Italy, from buying the house, to her new friendships, and the contractors who built her new renovations . And it proves that some dreams do come true if we believe in them. I liked Francis character so much in this movie. She was humble, friendly and helpful towards others, intelligent, knew how to survive on her own and heal her hurts of the past . Diane Lane was the perfect choice.I wish I could meet her. The humility of the contractors who restored her house were also a great choice. A beautiful movie. I watch it over and over again when I eventually want to travel to Tuscany..
