great film. i understand that it’s very contrasting in the reviews, but the way this film is produced is AMAZING. the beautiful colours and light hearted music and atmosphere completely condescends with the dark and gruesome reality of the film. And the end, wow- didn’t see that coming! the film manipulates you just like the cult manipulates the main character, you finish the film feeling happy for her. which in all honesty you shouldn’t- she belongs to the cult now, but her finding closure makes us feel happy for her showing the true power of the film. love it. one of the best horror films in my opinion against it really just depends on your take on this film after you watch it. The film left me sitting in the credits scene in utter shock, which i love about those sort of films. people say it’s ‘boring’ ‘and no character motivation etc’ but then people complain when horror films take ages to start up etc. This film went right into it, you start quite early on meeting the cult, and not too far in you are already met with your first scent of ‘oh this cult is weird asf’. GREAT FILM
