It was a pleasure to see Pacino and Pesci work...what stellar talent. Hard to watch Deniro's lack of emotional depth, development and internal struggle as a character. He seemed almost there but not quite. There have been great mobster dramas....this seemed like a grasp for another, with incohesive storytelling, poor editing, and a monotonous soundtrack holding it back.
