I just read it in one sitting! This book was so good. I am a history buff and a total dog lover so a double pleasure for me. My grandfather was in WW1 so the historical side was a wealth of information for me and made you feel like you were actually there. My beautiful cattle dog mix just pased away at 18, so I feel the pain that Conroy felt losing Stubby. This book is a must read!!
