Several thoughts went through my mind as I watched The Covenant.
1) That Jake Gyllenhaal's eyes are mesmerizing, distractingly blue!
2) That military dependents of our soldiers are amazingly heroic!
3) A promise is a sacred promise and sadly, we have not honored them!
4) I don't know when I have seen a better film this year! And
4) This movie has stuck with me, ("Like a hook you can't see. But it's there.") days after I have seen it.
Run, don't walk, and see The Covenant.
