It was a good start. In this new iteration of Superman. It feels more comic accurate while having good action, good comedy in no small part to a dog named crypto. And a great version of Lex Luthor. It could use more clark kent and less Superman perhaps to show the type of adversity that cal el deals with while seemingly being the strongest hero on the planet. Being an alien on a foreign planet trying to be human and keep his identity secret. Still though it's a very entertaining movie. And to start if a franchise like the DC I think that's the best we could hope for. There's a lot to like here as it changes paces from the Uber serious Snyder universe. As much as I enjoyed that. This feels like a accurate DC portrayal while hinting at some great things to come.

A good cast, a good story. Unfortunately the show seems more interested in spinning it's wheels with it's characters arcs than setting these sientist to the task of saving humanity. Which for some reason a lot of them seem like they don't even want Todo. Other than that it has big ideas. Interesting cinematography and a decent premise. I think it has promise it has not yet fulfilled
