I don't understand the hype around the acting, (Saved by the Bell had better acting in it's first season) everything felt so forced. The stereotypes were over-the-top, and probably hurt the reputation of American Muslim families. The CGI for the powers was cool, but hard to overlook all the 90s background stuff they added. I really don't understand the Green Lantern, knock-off powers Ms.Marvel gets in the series, the comic origin and powers were way cooler. I wish I could rate this higher, because Iman Vellani seems to really enjoy this gig, but at least it's all uphill from this series for her.
