Ghastly! What a load of rubbish! The BBC are paying out license fee payers money on a production which only serves as an insult to the excellent original. I feel sorry for the talented cast who found themselves caught up in this Martian Misery. I bet they all hoped they would sucome to a death ray early on, once they read the script, and sneak out with nobody noticing. Hope it's not career limiting for them. What a waste of three hours I could have instead spent trimming my toe nails. Would have been more scary, and alien-like, than the thoughtless CGI blobs the beeb used to represent Martians. Looks like they insulted their looks as well as our intelligence, and that's without all the political propaganda we expect from the BBC these days. Shame. I fear this corporations days are numbered.
