I watched this movie last night with my mother for the 1st time, and I do have to admit that it had a bit of a horror kind of feel to it when the Partridge's eyes lit up and the interior of the tree glowed. But it also had a "The Haunted Mansion" feel. The moral of the movie that I got from it was "If you try to do to much things by yourself, your going to fail. But if you have family to help you, nothing can go wrong, because family are there to help you in times of need". The CGI of the ceramic characters is a nice touch of comedy and having Pentatonix in there as comedy relief was also a good touch. All-in-all, it was a good movie. That is my take on this movie.
