I loved it. My first SLB movie was Saawariya, not Devdas. I fell in love with Saawariya. The set was amazing and so Heeramandi reminded me of that and I thoroughly enjoy the set and the characters too. Even though I'm glad it's just eight episodes, I wish to see more.

It was boring, long and terrible acting overall.

The film features numerous soldiers, guns, and weapons, yet none manage to successfully target the main character. Even the individual with the gun attempting to do so must get dangerously close for obvious reason. This movie was a joke. Such a waste of money and time. Well, glad it gave jobs to a lot of people - the director for instance.

Honestly, this movie is silly - mocking themselves & boring. I can't believe I waited for this for so long - absolutely disappointed.

I never read the book and so I had no expectation as how it should be. That made this movie a perfect - a feel good movie - for me. Coincidentally, I just subscribed to Amazon Prime few hours earlier - to watch this and I am glad I did. Absolutely recommend this movie.

Loved the movie. I rarely write reviews on movies and when I write it's either because I loved the movie or because the movie was absolutely terrible, and I should warn the audience. This one, as I started, is one of the best movies I have watched. A movie well done with a simple story line and will keep your attention to the screen the whole time. I'd absolutely add to my list of movies to watch again or keep a copy of it.

What a terrible movie. Came to the movie hoping it shows the history of Bose. Nothing until the interval. The role of the comedian is unnecessary and unbearable. It's so bad that I'm writing this review while watching the movie. I'm not going to trust the IMDB ratings anymore, for Indian movies esp. Let's see how the second half goes.
