Brilliant movie, exactly how a remake is done, I went to see it today with my son and after Snowwhite, I half dreaded this live action possibly being ruined, as this is one of my fave animated films but it has been done perfectly, we, the audience, fall for the characters, their stories, their quirks and flaws, all we want In a live remake, is to see all that brought to life, that's it, no improv, no changes to fit in with the new generation, just the beauty of the original story in live action and they absolutely nailed it.

I was slightly disappointed. It was like watching a dud firework, all the hype to just fizzle out at the end. The original Beetlejuice was better, at least there was a story line. I felt there should have been some demonic showdown (considering the ex wife hunting Beetlejuice down like a dog), but nothing came of this antagonist at all, infact, she may as well have just got back into her boxes as she served no purpose to the movie, crashes the wedding, and stands stationary to get eaten by a sand worm. It was vaguely predictable but it could have at least finished with a good ending.

What The Hell? Is my conclusion to the platform 2. The first platform was a good watch with a slightly underwhelming end. This movie however was all over the place, with the worst, most confusing ending going. Think whoever wrote this, lost the plot along the way. I watched it last night, and I still can't make sense of what was going on 🤔
