A ten episode pilot that lifts years of sci fi and horror film scenes and tries to pass them off as original concepts. Realistically, who could stitch action from the shining, 2001, event horizon, resident evil, alien resurrection, the deer hunter, and dr strange bits into a coherent piece? Maybe season two will be better now that the pilot is out of the way. The good news they haven’t harvested anything from childhood’s end, predator, I robot, timecop, or the one, so there is plenty of material left to shamelessly appropriate.
