I'd be interested to hear viewpoints from African-Americans who lived in the deep south during that era. I enoyed it immensely, and thought it pretty accurate, from what I know at least. Thought both lead actors did a fine job, which is the norm for both gentlemen...especially Mortensen's depiction of a 60's Italian-American. I laughed, cried and thought. Highly recommend.
