I read the books when i was in high school and the movie actually follows along well with the book they did add a few more details from the third book into the movie but i don’t think Paris was a special like they wrote his character. It was really good movie for the most part normally they get the movies to books wrong and change them up but this wasn’t really the case like i said there was one detail i don’t remember but it didn’t make the movie bad whatsoever. Its actually been a while since i read the series i might actually read the books again!!!!
