The concept and plot were good and had huge potential, spoilt by huge construct faults from the beginning. Attitude of project instigators unbelievable/cavalier, distinct lack of leadership from Group Leader, early insubordination unbelievable, absence of reaction to obvious early external issues and early systems failure, activity of crew during 400 days unbelievable. We know too much about the realities of such projects, and this whole film lacked the discipline required for space travel. They were 4 people who had not been psych vetted, but set up to fail from the start. They had nothing to do and 'did' nothing, not even group eating.The film had an empty middle. The film makers may have been trying to portray oxygen deprivation, but we didn't know that till the very end. All we saw was zombie acting. Detail good: eg clues dropped to eventual consequences. Set, make up, costume, great. Loved the final confusion. Even we weren't spoon fed the real time event and had to work out what we thought had happened. However, the characters were really too dumb even if oxygen deprived. Loved the cliff hanger. Loved the idea of the film, waiting for the clever stuff that came too late. Disappointing but applaud the concept.
