The Bondsman is a well needed break from most shows lately. The show embodies so many suprising elements of what would seem to be conflicting genres. It is mystical, dramatic, thrilling and satirical even. Kevin Bacon and the entire supporting cast are extremely well chosen for their roles creating a highly believable mix of oddities that find themselves enthralled in chaos while going about everyday life rituals, with aspirations much like most people, familes and societies of today. I searched online to see when season 2 would be released only to be disappointed that there will be no season 2. IMHO this is a grave mistake by the network. The Bondsman is one show that I was looking forward to following and later binging. It deserves to be recognized for the creative brilliance of seemlessly merging a mystical world of horrors into everyday life with such refreshing relatability and familiarity. The Bondsman is a must watch!
