This movie is a masterpiece. It is a study a morality play about flawed character, greed, ego and the love of money. It’s not merely a circus or carnival movie. Del Toro does his usual poetically beautiful job using bizarre and iconic images to illuminate the story. The cast is impeccable. This movie is an Oscar machine.
