I did a lot of yelling at the tv and walked out of the room several times while watching Maid. The acting is spectacular and nails the bipolar mother, eternal caretaker daughter and alcoholism. It portrays the almost impossible situation of a single mother trying to make it on nothing but grit. Tough watch but SO worth it.
