Geez, Joe, what was with the Southern Baptist altar call with Pete Butigieg this morning? That was a Falwell/Franklin Graham moment. I half expected to hear "Just As I Am" start playing in the background. I went to a Baptist church 3 times a week plus revivals and Bible School, and my parents transferred from a Southern Baptist church because it was too liberal, so I know the drill. In my opinion you were totally inappropriate. Are you going to ask those questions of Bernie sanders, or grill him on his depth of commitment to his Jewish faith? Thomas Jefferson (his Jefferson Bible was a New Testament with all reference to supernatural events removed), and a lot of the founders, would have flunked your insistent interrogation seeking validation of your particular Christian religious beliefs.
