People who give this 5 stars need to watch the first 2 movies again!!! This one was terrible. How many insidious films has there been now??? 5 or so? So why do we need the first hour to go over and over the whole idea of the further??? The film was more frustrating than scary. The jump scares were way too delayed and predictable. The only good thing was seeing the cast back together

Stuck in a tower block... really!!??? I get that evil dead may want to change the location from a cabin but this was a terrible decision. I love all the evil dead films (including the remake) but this one is not for me. Felt more like a conjuring movie if anything. The story was too predictable and the characters didn't seem to have a genuine bond with each other. This meant that you didn't really care who lived or died. It felt more like a teen film (even with massive amount of gore) Not enough info about the book or deadites and the final death was just ridiculous and so convenient 🙄. The first remake was done brilliantly and still felt like an evil dead movie. This one didn't. If it wasn't called evil dead then there's no way you'd be able to tell. Disappointing but OK for a horror film but no where near the standard for evil dead Probably a movie you'd only watch once
