"Thudarum" is an amazing slow-burn revenge thriller! The vibe was of Mohanlal's Drishyam but with a storyline based on the statistics of a particular kind of crime happening everywhere but not being reported. I wish the template which showed the statistics of crime was on screen for a few more seconds for viewers to read & understand. This movie is well crafted with emotional depth. This movie is a relatable portrayal of an ordinary man facing injustice. Watching Mohanlal, perform all kinds of emotion with perfection, was an absolute treat! Great performance by all other actors too, especially the newcomer villian who truly deserves an award. Loved the story, songs, BGM, direction, location & cinematography but not recommended for children below the age of 16. This movie is also available in Telugu dubbed version. Tamil version will be released on 9th May.
