Ok, first of all, I would like to say that this review is purely from a story mode perspective because I have never touched Red Dead Online. With that out of the way, this game is probably my favorite ever. I have seen quite a few people in negative reviews complain that it takes too long to get from Point A to Point B, but I think it gives the player the chance to explore the many secrets of the world around them. The map, in reality, is not as large as the game would like you to believe, but the details put into it sure makes it feel as if it is. Without any spoilers, the character development, from (high honor) Arthur and Dutch particularly, is AMAZING. If I could go back in time and replay this game for the first time, I would.
