I was hoping for this movie to be an amazing space adventure with Buzz being able to actually be a space ranger. I was so sad to watch how they took Buzz and made him self-centered or lacking human empathy at times. The animation was absolutely gorgeous, but the story was so incredibly weak. it is claimed to be a movie that Andy would have wanted his own toy of Buzz, but they used story aspects that would not have been present back in 1995, let alone one that a child would be fascinated with. Buzz never flies with his wings or uses his laser, and those were the things that make Buzz even better in the Toy Story movies. I’m sorry, Pixar, this one is a miss.
