Did atheists write this to promote the atheist philosophy?
The movie is, to me anyway, about the means to salvation lies in the pathway of personal fulfillment. An all-powerful being (Dracula, or God) intends to subject the people of earth to a life of "pathetic desperation" and suffering. The individual can eliminate this suffering by "taking back" the power given to Dracula (God). After all, is not God but the creation of the human mind? Can humans then eliminate suffering by rejecting the idea of God?
Well, food for thought.
