I read these other reviews and I really can't fathom how they are mostly 5 stars. Just because they made a sequal to a movie that was great does not make it great. They tried to recreate the original, with its amazing sound track, its heart wrenching back stories, great comedic writing and huge action sequences. They failed. This movie has those things but they all seem to clash with each other. This movie has violence on a John wick level (just because there's no blood doesn't mean ripping peoples heads of is any less graphic.) In-between the gratuitous violence there is a terrible plot with terrible acting. They try to slide in a bunch of side story that's just unbearable. The diolougue feels like you're watching a cheap cartoon, until they add the conflict, then it feels like a Tyler Perry movie. The soundtrack is eclectic and forced, it doesn't fit most of the sceens. All in all it might be the worst marvel movie so far, it's a toss up between this garbage and Dr. Stranges multiverse of madness.
