OK, this is sort of hard, but also quite easy, since both me and the wife are great followers of the Downton Abbey series. Seeing the whole gang of them was almost like coming back to some kind of family gathering, since they almost feel like family after having followed them for 6 seasons. Yes, the heartbreaks, the triumphs, scheming, backstabbing in the earlier seasons had us all wanting to know what happens next. The film did not disappoint in any way. It was good to see them all again, and seeing them handle the (in my words, usurpers) of the Downton Abbey staff was very amusing. There is not really much more than I can say, it is an excellent film (in my view) that does not disappoint the followers of this great series that is worth a watch and a re-watch at some time in the future.
