Loved Fourth Wing so much, so I was really excited for this. Unfortunately I just ended up very frustrated with it. A lot of the writing didn't make sense, the constant miscommunication and pathetic arguments between Violet and Xaden had me slogging my way through just to get to the end - which I found horribly predictable. I hope the third book redeems the series a bit, but I'll be borrowing it from my library, not buying it.
