On the day I walked into the cinema to view 'The Emoji Movie', I was completely unprepared for the glorious adventure I was about to be taken on.
Within the first few minutes of the movie, I was immediately struck by the character 'Gene', also referred to as 'Meh'. His absolutely breathtaking appearance threw me back in my chair. It felt like my heart had frozen.
Upon entering the cinema, I had believed myself to be a heterosexual male. However, the mere sight of Gene's luscious golden skin and vivacious physique aroused me infinitely more than the sight of any woman. His delicate, curvaceous body, combined with his dashing personality made me pine for his attention.
As the movie progressed, Gene later meets the character 'High Five', whose subsequent appearance made me seriously doubt my sexuality. High Five's toned, supple figure seemed to leap out of the screen towards me.
The two characters proceed to embark on a truly epic quest, the likes of which has never been seen before in cinematic history (at least, not to my knowledge). The two friends embark on a perilous trek through a mobile phone, whilst being pursued by malevolent robots. I was utterly flattered by Gene and High Five's intelligence and ingenuity as they repeatedly outsmarted and evaded the robots. Watching these two Adonis-like characters on screen was a truly exhilarating experience.
Upon the film's conclusion, I left the theater accompanied by a burning feeling of loss and emptiness. It seemed Gene and High Five were not just characters, but two individuals of exceptional beauty and personality. I felt that I had just been parted from two loved ones, unsure if I would ever meet them again.
