Netflix putting the axe to this show was such a shame! I thought all the actors did a fantastic job portraying their characters! Sometimes, you see characters that land a little flat, but everyone here was believable.
The show brings forth powerful questions of family dynamics, parenting, childhood in an affluent situation that all appear believable, while simultaneously giving every character their room to develop and grow. What I expected to be a fairly run-of-the-mill male nanny show developed in a way I did not entirely expect. All coming to a head in the last episode in a way that made a lot of sense for the characters involved.
Being rug-pulled by Netflix didn't leave this show with an abrupt ending, either! Most of the loose ends were tied up neatly, and those that weren't didn't leave me groaning for a lack of resolution. All in all, an enjoyable 4 hours of screen time across the whole season. Definitely worth a watch!
