Don't listen to the critics and weirdos who brought their toddlers to an R-rated movie that they had two prior examples to go off of. This movie is straight up a love letter to those of us who grew up on FOX era X-Men, and is so much more meta and makes way more sense than people give it credit for.
*SPOILERS!*
Logan is THE X-Man and was the biggest character in the FOX universe, hence Wade's timeline dying when Logan did. The void is full of retired FOX characters, hence the team. People asking how Daphne Keen's character got pruned, that happened when Disney axed X-23's solo movie and why Gambit says he was born there.
As a standalone movie, I would agree it is the weakest Deadpool, but as a phase 4 Marvel movie, I would put it up there with Guardians 3 as far as how much I either laughed or cried at every scene.
