I am not really into crime genre but this book had me hooked. To be honest, it kinda started a little bit boring, but it got better and more exciting after 2 chapters. I could not stop reading it. I think the author really did a good job with keeping the story mysterious and shocking till the end. However, I must say I did not like the ending, or the way the murderer was revealed. It kinda ruined the overall vibe of the book for me. But I can understand why the author did it, since the book was not just about murder, but also an important message: life is short and amazing and you should enjoy every moment of it before it‘s too late. So yeah I guess the message kinda aligned with the ending. Plus, something that did not make sense to me, is why did billy‘s mom left him with his father when she probably could have taken him with her?🧐
All in all I would definitely recommend this book though!
