I happened to walk by while my husband was watching. I stayed because the case involved a dental injury. I have worked as a dental hygienist for the last 44 years. This case involved a young lady that was accidentally hit in the mouth with a beer bottle. The guy holding the bottle was dancing and admitted hitting her. I couldn’t tell from the quick screen shot if it was 1 or 2 teeth that were broken. The issue I have with the verdict is the poor guy wound up paying $600 ...half of her dental bill. The dental bill shown was to have 4 wisdom teeth removed . Why was he paying for that. Bad decision by Judge Judy.
