Bollywood has long failed in delivering authentic historical films, often distorting facts for entertainment—unlike Tollywood, which consistently honors its roots with grandeur and respect. But Chaava is a refreshing exception. The team behind this film has done what Bollywood rarely dares—telling the real, powerful story of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the fearless son of Shivaji Maharaj. Vicky Kaushal’s performance is commendable, but the true victory lies in the filmmakers' effort to finally give this warrior his due. While Bollywood still lags behind in honoring true heroes, Chaava stands tall as a well-deserved tribute.
